Russia’s small bank Onebank not lets clients withdraw deposits
MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) -- Onebank, a bank in Russia’s North Ossetia-Alania republic, ranked 537 by assets as of January 1, no longer allows its clients to withdraw deposits, a call center officer told PRIME on Tuesday.
“We do not have money either in the counter, or on the correspondent account. We cannot even make a transfer to another bank,” the official said.
A banking source told PRIME that the bank had been disconnected from the central bank’s electronic transactions system, a step usually preceding license revocation.
